We at Waters & Sons Funeral Directors understand that funerals can be expensive, so our No Service Funeral is a more affordable option for you to say goodbye to your loved one.
Sometimes, it’s the wishes of your loved one to have a No Service Funeral as they are less formal and less expensive. If you do decide on a No Service Funeral you could hold a memorial service separately to help relatives and friends create a more personal goodbye or tribute.
The No Service Funeral option ensures that Waters & Sons takes care of everything on your behalf during this most difficult time which includes; all the arrangements, 3rd party disbursement fees, all necessary documentation and the crematorium fees.

Our No Service Funeral Includes:
- Funeral Director’s professional services and advice (24 hours)
- Into care service /conveyance of your loved one *(within a 20 mile radius / within office hours 9am-4pm)
- Care and attention of your loved one until the day of the cremation
- The arrangements for the no service funeral
- Coordination and submission of all relevant documentation and paperwork
- Provision of a traditional coffin
- Preparation and care of your loved one as deemed necessary and dressing in own clothing or a white gown if desired
- Visitation of your loved one in our chapel of rest within office hours only
- Crematorium Fee
- Provision of a hearse to take your loved one to the crematorium (locally)
- Provision of our staff on the day of the cremation
- On-line obituary on our website for donations to a charity or charities of your choice
- Collection & Retention of cremated remain from crematorium
Please Note: Payment for this no service funeral service is usually to be paid at the time of arrangement.
Also, if we bring your loved one into our care outside of office hours then there will be a chargeable fee of £295.00
An additional charge may apply for Embalming at £135.00 if required.
